Time with host at time of review: About 2 years
I started with IX about two years ago with the business plan. For the first couple of months they had some difficulties with my sites being down (and customer support always saying everything was fine at their end) but things improved and since then I would rate them above average.
The only problem is the way they set up their email servers so that they reject the site owner's outgoing emails if you happen to be accessing them from an IP that is blacklisted. I set up Google's Apps for Domains and that problem is history now.
Speed is sometimes excellent and rarely slows below average. I have a site monitor and haven't had any downtime of note since the first couple of months.
The best feature that they offer is 8 dedicated IP addresses on the business plan. With other companies charging around $2.00 a month or more it makes the plan very good value.
Additionally you can set up custom DNS records for your sites right from the control panel.
