HostNine is a dynamic young company founded by web hosting veterans. In 2006, we decided to strike out on our own after many years of industry experience. Our goal is simple: we want to get to know your business, and do everything we can to support it.
As a starting point, we've built a solid technology foundation. We use only Dell servers, which offer exceptional performance and proven reliability. Our current config features dual core dual Opteron 2.4 GHz processors (that means each server contains two 2.4 GHz processors, each of which is dual core) with 4 GB of RAM. Our Fastservers-operated data centers are located in Cedar Falls, Iowa, San Jose and Chicago.

I have been with host9 for over a year now and been very happy. I had my first issue over the weekend and called the 24 hour support service. I did have to wait for 30 minutes prior to talking to someone, but when I did they promised to resolve my issue shortly which they did. The person I spoke to was easy to understand and spoke my language. I was very happy with their availability on the weekend and quick resolution of the problem.

With a price like this and 50% discount on your first order, you'd have thought you'd struck gold if you were wanting a cheap host to look after a low traffic website and email....
But sadly they are beset with reliability issues and a customer support manager who has the skills of a high school IT teacher...
Everything is there, but the support personnel aren't good enough to gell it all together and make what should have been an excellent hosting company....
Stear clear if you want reliability and the reasurance of a support department who know what they are doing....
